ETIPP PROJECT

Technical Assistance: The community will benefit from 18–24 months of expert guidance from national laboratories and regional partners, including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Groundswell. This assistance will help in evaluating on-site energy generation options, analyzing local energy technologies, and providing policy guidance.

2. Energy Resilience: The initiative aims to improve energy system reliability and reduce energy costs, which is crucial for residents facing economic hardships due to high energy expenses.

3. Community Development: The S.T.A.N.D. Initiative will focus on community training, resilience kit distribution, and solar panel installations, fostering a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community.

4. Specific Goals: The project targets a 25% reduction in energy outages and a 15% decrease in energy costs, providing tangible savings and safety improvements for Brunswick families.

Overall, being the first in Georgia to receive this award not only brings financial and technical resources but also positions Brunswick as a leader in energy resilience and community development within the state.
